any Filipino nurses in Canada?

me and my husband will be moving there soon. just wondering how it is to work as a nurse in BC.. is it worth it?, financially and sacrifing our life here in the Phils in exchange of a better future Canada can offer?

hello. how are you faring so far? did you go there as an independent immigrant or through an employer? i'm leaving for canada next year and any tips would be welcome.

I'll be moving to Coquitlam, BC. I'll be entering as a landed immigrant with my family, and I'll have to find a job when I get there. I hope it won't be very difficult to find one.

hi! I just passed the board exam last June 2007 and my aunt will be sponsoring me to go to Toronto..do hospitals there hire fresh grads like me?

PLease help me. my mother is sponsoring me as dependent to be immigrant in toronto ontario. the thing is i am still waiting for the results of my local board. my mom told me that i have to maintain my dependent status therefore i can not work here yet. what should i do to be ready to be an RN in canada?

Hello mctina, I hope you don't mind me asking what and where did you find your employer. It is very difficult to find good employer and agency here that is why i'm asking you since you already went through what we'll still be going through. I also wish to work in canada though i did passed the nclex already.With how things are in the US and the current statusof nurses in the phils any place is better. How much did it cost you to go there. I don't have any experience yet, I'm waiting for my saudi visa for more than 3 mos already and i'm keeping my options open.
