  1. Congratulations, 3RNa! I'm from North York too but nothing in the mail today yet. You're the only person "i know" who got the result from Ontario! Even those Ontarian in Canadian RN exam FB account didn't get theirs yet.
  2. Okay, thanks. I think I have to call them now. Thank you so much. Thay sent me a letter stating that they will only start the process of my eligibility after all the requirements are passed. But as of now, I only want to know if what are the subjects that I still have to take. But anyway, I will still contact them about this one. Thanks:saint:
  3. yeah. i know that they require IELTS and Im planning to take it soon, Im just waiting for the evaluation if I still have to do bridging programs. Im planning to register in Ontario and yes i think I still have to do some bridging programs. Thanks for the concern.
  4. yeah of course they require ielts but i still have not taken that. i just let my credentials be assessed so i'll know if i still have to take upgrading programs or just to know the subjects that i still have to take. Thanks for your concern. Just feel free to correct me if there's anything wrong. are you already here in Canada? at what province? Best of luck and God bless..
  5. hi purple! just want to make it clear that i didnt say that most filipino nurses plan to make Canada as their stepping stone to US. This was my actual post "hello there! i beg to disagree with that Filipino nurse who told you that. i know a lot of philippine nurses who would not want to work in another country. It's just a matter of personal choices. i also want to agree with you that other people, not only Filipinos, should not make Canada as their stepping stone for them to go to US. Canada is a great country and i know you'll love it here" --you can check it here --https://allnurses.com/forums/f108/demand-nurses-canada-323593-4.html ------------ Please be careful next time. I dont support those people who uses another country as their stepping stone to go to US and i also think it's unfair to generalize filipino nurses or any other nationality. anyway, best of luck and God bless to you.. Just PM me if you want to ask something. Hopefully, you'll love it here in canada. What province are you planning to register?

  10. CRNE without short answer questions will be until february 2010.. am i right?
  11. hmm,,this is an interesting one! although it varies from one person to another and from province to province, can you(Filipino nurses in Canada or those who already have their eligibility) tell us your situation? thanks..
  12. hello! when will you sit crne and what province? if i were you, i'll try to buy the latest edition. anyway, let's wait for others to comment on this one. those who had taken the exam will have more inputs. just dropped by actually to tell you best of luck on your exam and bless you!
  13. hello! i just want to make a thread so we know the person/s with the same situation like us. just state your 1. place of origin 2. school where you finished you RN degree 3. work place 4. plans/exams to take Best of luck to all!:redbeathe
  14. i also have same query about license. i am already here in canada, do i have to renew my license in the philippines? if yes, what are the other requirements in renewing?(except those stated below) is it okay if i am not a member of PNA? thanks!:redbeathe
  15. i went to the site of nursing bodies in BC and Alberta. i noticed that in their application package, the form that is to be sent to the School of nursing where one completed his nursing program there is a table where the school will write the number of theory hours and clinical hours. but in CNO there is none. im just really curious if how will they go about it. they have specific number of hours for theory but how can they possibly know that one? my transcript of records in school doesn't have theory hours in it- it only have the subjects, units and grades. anyone here planning to become an RN in Ontario? or those registered in Ontario? anyone can answer though. thanks:saint:
