FGCU Nursing Fall 2013 Applicants!

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I just wanted to get a post going for all FGCU School of Nursing Applicants for the Fall 2013 semester.

At minimum, please post your current school, cumulative GPA, and program percentile rank from your TEAS exam.

95 on the TEAS, and I am a transfer student, so I have no idea how FGCU calculated my gpa, however my prerequisite gpa was 3.65ish....

85 on TEAS. I too am a transfer student and not sure of what they have for my overall GPA. My GPA in prerequisites is about 3.4.

Just out of curiosity - what are you all doing for housing next fall? Living at home? On campus housing? Apartments? Also, any suggestions/reviews of off campus housing?

I wanted to live on campus, but its just too expensive for not having my own space and you would need to fill out the application asap because its first come first serve and once you fill out that application, you are agreeing to move in, so if you cancel there is a big fine up to $500 depending on when you back out. And just like you, i still want to apply to USF so i do not want to commit to anything. I wanted to live off campus but I would rather live with a roommate but i do not know anyone in fort myers.

I am in a very similar situation. However, I also have a the option of living with my parents who are relatively close to FGCU. I'm just not sure yet

I got accepted into the program also!! Super excited. I had a 3.87 gpa and an 75% teas score. I do not currently live in ft. myers, do you guys know of anyone who got accepted into the program looking for a roommate!?

Nope, but I have seen previous threads mentioning orientation being held Mid-May early June-ish.

I called them this last Friday and they were getting them ready to mail out as we spoke. I imagine we will get them this week. :)

Okay thanks for your help. When i called i was told i would receive something by May 1st so i was a little worried, but i guess they are on the way.
