FGCU CRNA 2019

Published

Hi! I know I am early but anyone looking to apply for FGCU starting Jan 2019? Apps are due May 15, 2018! Anyone know the stats of people who have gotten in and interview tips? Thanks in advance! :)

Oh! I thought I read somewhere interviews would be in June and July. I guess I misunderstood... well even better then, just gotta get through the 3 weeks. I'm hoping for the best, expecting the worst. Happy for everyone who got an interview, I truly wish us all the best!

Ob1jacobi I sent you a PM

Any clinical scenarios at the interview?

I didn't but I got the impression some did have some light clinical questions. Sorry to be so vague.

No clinical questions here but my second question was what I would do if a 3 month old was deteriorating essentially and there was not an anesthesiologist for resource, pretty sure I brought that one upon myself but hey, I answered the best I could.

I have a theory that 70%+ of their decision is made before you even walk in the door. They're simply seeking a confirmation you're the right fit if they've chose you, not changing their mind about who they haven't. Idk... that's just my 2 cents. What will be, will be.

Who knows, nothing to do now but wait it out. One week down, lol.

Anyone from today's interviews get out yet? Did anyone ask the official number of people they are planning to accept in this class?

I'm interested to see how many people interviewed today!

Yea, me too. I don't like this waiting game at all. Mostly because I want to plan my life accordingly and its hard when you don't know where you will be in the next six months.

I was reading last years board and it looks like they found out a few days after the last interview day. I have my fingers crossed that we find out by the end of this week :-)

Was part of the interviews today, there was at least 15-20 of us. The faculty said to expect calls as soon as tonight, but could be as late as 1-3 weeks from now. Post up if you start getting calls!
