Hello all, I just wanted to start this thread for all future, present or interested Felician ABSN students. I’ve been recently accepted into the January 2022 ABSN class and wanted to connect with people on my similar path

Depends on where you live but the furthest I've heard from the school is hackettstown and newton. Most sites are within the Atlantic health system, VA hospital, and prime health.

The counselor I worked with seemed annoyed that I took my prerequisites in a different order, than she wanted me to. I knew that the program seemed too good to be true. I'm not applying there anymore! 

This thread is so helpful! I was moving forward with them until I saw this. My advisor was so annoying and would follow up weekly. They're so persistent in trying to get the money. Definitely too good to be true

I have friends in other nursing schools which are much more well known and I’m honestly so jealous as their teachers curve grades etc and really do their hardest to help out the students because they want to see them pass. There is a huge nursing shortage and you would think they would want to help us get our degree, but honestly all they care about is money and having a high NCLEX Rate! If you show any weakness or signs that you may not pass the NCLEX then you can forget about it ✌️ There’s no waiting list for a reason and It is easier to get into this school for a reason cus they will drop you without any remorse cus they are still making money! And then no classes will transfer even to their on ground program if you fail out! They will offer you to take an exam and pass with a 77 for the class to transfer any credits to the on ground nursing program which you will have to reapply for! So now the people that have failed out literally just lost 30,000 like that cus they missed by 1 or .6 points! You can only fail one class when before it was two but they changed that and if you fail another time then you are out the program, $30,000 in debt with barely any other options after that. So I’d say pick another school by all means! My cohort started with around 80 and I can assure you it’s less than 50 students now. Nursing school is no doubt hard everywhere, but trust they don’t make it easier for you at all! It looks attractive for all the right reasons, but the switch up is real! It’s all about the money here! Even academically exceptionally students don’t do well and it’s extremely hard for bad test takers. The material is not outrageously hard, it’s honestly more so the tests! It isn’t impossible to pass, but extremely difficult ! I have no more chances left and so I pray I don’t fail out after completing three semesters with one more semester to go and not being able to transfer the credits and being further in debt with nothing no degree! Just something to really think about!! If you do still decide to go then I would say learn and practice how to do NCLEX questions, take advantage of tutoring, don’t work unless you are extremely disciplined & keep to the bare minimum, have a study group, figure out how to take notes from the textbook readings as you are really on your own with very few lectures, watch Youtube videos, study several hours a day, make or buy flash cards & study guides, create a schedule that works for you so you don’t fall behind on your school work, start studying ahead at least 1 week before because you can not study  last minute unless you are extremely gifted and everything comes easy to you, and learn how to be a good test taker if you are not. Nursing school is a whole different ball game especially this program since it’s hybrid & ABSN, and you really need to learn how to conquer doing NCLEX questions, understanding the material & mastering critical thinking skills. @Rn0221 Thank you for sharing your experience. I found some reviews but mainly on the hybrid program.
