Sure feels good to be back at allnurses.com! I'm on location at my first travel assignment in over ten years, and will start my first day of work tomorrow!
Thanks for the prayers during my travels to CA and your continued prayers are much appreciated over the next 13 weeks that I will be on assignment here.
My condo didn't turn out to be the lap of luxury it looked to be in the photos I viewed before moving here, but I have gotten over the SHOCK of it being "normal", soooooooo.....moving onward and upward like a strong independent woman would!
The temperature here is already in the 90's! It's a very dry heat, so much more tolerable than having the high humidity. Thank God for that! I'm just going to turn sour lemons into sweet tasting lemonade and have the most fun I can while on assignment here. Not going to let anything get me down. I'm almost single again, so looking forward to dating again, spending money again, and will never stop the laughter that keeps me emotionally intact!
