I took my micro second test yesterday...did sooooooo bad. I got a 55. First test also was bad...just a 70. My practical is on monday. I'm so stressed.

I'm really sorry. There are some really great micro threads on this forum if you want to look into them. They have some really great links and it definately helped me pass my micro this past spring with an A. Good luck and I hope things get better for you!

Did you ever think it might be your instructor who is doing the poor job teaching you? I had this problem back in the spring and changed professors. The first one I had was horrible and the class average was around a 64 on all of her tests. I took a W from the course. I found a new professor who wanted her students to learn and got an A in her class.

Your professors really can make a big difference. If it was me....I'd take a W and find a new professor so you can get an A in all of your sciences.

Good luck

I totally agree with drugreptonurse! Some professors don't care if you understand the material or if you pass. Talk to people at your scool and find one that's good. If you are having that much trouble, you need to figure out if it's you or the professor. If you need someone to explain the material to you in a different way, look for a tutor. Everyone learns in different ways and sometimes you just need it from a different perspective. You definetly don't want to get lower than a B in Micro, so try to figure it out before it's too late. Good luck!

I don't have much to as I haven't had micro. yet, but I thought you could use a bighug.gif! I hope you get it figured out soon.

micro over the summer can be hard. i know because i did it. i used a "study guide" about the basics of micro and it really helped me. i hope you do well on your practical. remember to use ALL your resources, that includes your professor. if you are having a hard time with a concept. make an appointment with your professor. that way you know that you did everything that you could to pass. professors are there to help (i know some aren't, but that is their job, so get the help from them that you need).

sincerley,
