Hello guys today was my first time taking the HESI exit exam and I got and 828 in which my school requires an 850. I'm feeling so frustrated :banghead: because I studied really hard and to get that score ugggggggggg. Next time I am required to get a 900, god I already see my self getting and 891 or a 899 or some crap like that. Does any have any advice as what i can do to get a 900 or better. I greatly appreciate all you guys thank you

I would focus on meds, delegation and infection control...and do many questions and focus on the weak areas.

Also, don't speak negativity on yourself. Just study and focus and you will do fine =). Remember, the tongue is very powerful. Don't put bad words on yourself.

I have to take it next week.. do you have any recommendations?

I take mine this Friday. Wish me luck. I need an 850.

Don't give up on yourself but be positive!!!. I attempted the test thrice myself with same score ranges from 800-815,but never give up on myself. Now am so proud of myself because failing the test had made me stronger . I do study 18hrs@of 24hrs. My Plan really worked because i had to start from my fundamental to med-surge. Am testing again in 4weeks. All i need is to keep my head up an be positive so that, this will be the last and i will surely:dancgrp: to excel with 65% on the new Exit Exam ATI.:yeah:

I passed today with a 904(needed an 850), close but I still passed. I would suggest just answering nclex type questions. You have the knowledge, you made it this far. I think the test is all about "knowing" how to answer the questions.

I used the Hesi NCLEX RN disk of questions and Lippincotts review questions and I made a 1015! All I did was just do a wide variety of questions.

What I have advised my friends who have not passed it to do is look at their weak areas, read the sections where they were weak in a review type book and then do tons of questions on that section. I hope it works for them.

Good Luck on your next one and think positive!
