Feeling nervous with the idea of finishing

Published

Hi there

Well I thought to post in graduate nurse forum as I will be finishing in June this year. Now that its January, thoughts of nervousness are creeping into my head. I only now have one subject to complete with no practicums just a theory subject in which i have to repeat due to failing last year. So all my Clinical practicums are finished, i work as a PCA at two hospitals and I am now feeling anxious as I feel I just dont remember anything. I would love to know how the Grad Nurses are feeeling now, so that I can feel much more relaxed with thoughts.

regards

I think I know what you're saying....it almost seems as though we're "imposters", doesn't it??

As much as I've learned in school, there's not a day that I'm not reminded of how much I *don't* know.

I know exactly how you feel. Most of the time I feel like I don't know anything, and I wonder how I will ever manage without my instructors! Many nurses have told me it will be okay. They say everything we need to know, we learn on the job.

Keep your chin up!

Hi Shellntx

I hope it will be ok and I am trying to keep my chin up and have a positive outlook. The nerves seem to be taking over.

I just had an afternoon nap and I woke up startled to the idea I will be RN soon  :o :uhoh21: :imbar  . I am honestly looking forward to it but I have forgotten some lil things. So now I am going to be asking RNs that I work with questions lol.

So yah I wish us a positive wishes for our new RN roles and I am hanging on to the idea that it will be ok.
