  1. Oh how mean of them!!!:angryfire
  2. My friend and I went on the same day. We prayed in the bathroom before the test. She prayed for us each to get 75 questions. I did, she got 76. I told her God was picking on her! We both passed! So, no 77 isn't really odd, you just got 2 more questions!! Good luck!!!
  3. It has something to do with not only the month you were born, but also the year. They try to get you on a cycle where your license has to be renewed every two years at the end of the month of your birthday. My birthday is in an even year, so to get me on the right renewal cycle, I have to renew in 6 months (December). Next December would have been an odd year, and the next year would have gone past 29 months. There are no CEU's due for the first renewal, and it costs $67. The lady at the BNE explained it better. I was so relieved that nothing was wrong, I just condensed it into this in my mind and it is all I can remember! Congratulations on your new license!!!!!
  4. Thanks for your reply! I called the BNE this morning, and they explained it to me. I just freaked out last night. I thought maybe I "barely passed" the NCLEX or something!
  5. Hey everyone! I have question. I am in Texas (obviously - my name) and I have a question. I graduated, passed the NCLEX, and today I saw my license information on the BNE website. The date (I'm guessing expiration date) says 12/31/06. Isn't that odd? The others mostly say 8/31/08. Does anyone know why this would be? I noticed after the office closed, so I thought I would as the experts here. If anyone knows what this means, please tell me!! Thanks! Shell, RN:monkeydance:
  6. I know exactly how you feel. Most of the time I feel like I don't know anything, and I wonder how I will ever manage without my instructors! Many nurses have told me it will be okay. They say everything we need to know, we learn on the job. Keep your chin up! Shell:clown:
  7. I wish I had seen this. I tried to watch Gray's Anatomy when it first came on, but on two different episodes derogatory comments were made about nurses, so I stopped watching. I know it's just entertainment, but some people believe what they watch on TV.
  8. I failed Pathophysiology my first semester (by.2 point), and I could not continue in the program until I passed. I passed, and am now working on being readmitted into the program where I left off. I had to take a test from the NLN and I have to perform some skills and then I will be able to start back next Spring. I passed the test, now I just have to get through the skills. It is devastating to work so hard and then fail, especially when you've never failed before, but you just get through it and move on. Everything happens for a reason. Good luck! I know we can do this!
