Feeling a little bummed out

Hi everybody, I hope your semester is starting out good for you, don't give up. I just needed to vent because at my community college I was envited to join the Gamma Beta Phi club and I want to sooooo bad, but I do not have the joining fee money. And I don't know when I will have it. I'm not taking any classes now (to use my pell grant refund) because I finished all of my pre-reqs for nursing school and I'm just waiting for my acceptance letter in Apr '14. Plus, I am paying for immunization shots left and right so I can also pay for my expensive cna 1 class that I am taking this March. Thanks for letting me get it out and good luck to everyone trying to move forward. Thank you.

Awww! My friend never joined because of the fee either. She did take great pride in the fact she was invited though. It is a big accomplishment to even be invited!

Talk to the club director and let them know you want to join but your are short on money - sometimes they have money set aside or can work out a payment plan with students. Most people understand how tight money can be for students and try to be accomadating. At the very least you could always join next semester when you don't have so much other things you have to pay for. Congratulations on being invited in regardless - be proud of your accomplishment!! :)
