Hello I read someone here passed on 7th try of NCLEX. AS she said, never, never,NEVER give UP... BEcause Its really FOR U~ u just need to keep pushing, and pray soo hard.. I know at this time its very hard to say that, but try not to lose hope. i too failed the first time. Its never easy to accept failure. But GOd has helped me to stand up, continue studying, and keep hoping..... I believe u will pass NCLEX, just never lose hope.... When ur really down just pray and seek for strength.. AND believe me he will give it too u!!!! I do believe in miracles...... For now, just breathe, go out atleast its finished.... KEEP POSITIVE........

I just took the Nclex for the 4th time - went to 265 - (was also told at my site by proctor that certain test automatically will go to 265 no matter what, called Nclex and that is NOT the case and they were not happy with my testing center to say the least) but they explained to me that going to 265 is good that i am right there in that grey area and explained what determines whether i pass or not and i felt good, but i did not pass. i graduated 2.5 hrs ago and took the nclex b/f without alot of study or effort on my part - THIS TIME was different i was pressed for time b.c i registered and had 90 days and the 30th was my 90th day - but felt good - does anyone know anyone who took it 4 times or more.... I am getting back on the horse and going to study again (I went thru ATI testing, very good by the way, and they felt i needed more time based on my comprehensive test with them, but like i said my 90 days was up).... i feel so sad but when i called nclex they said to realize going to 265 has me that much closer, and i was probably very close to passing.... not close enough.... i am just curious anyone else going through the same thing? taking the nclex more than 3 times??? i am a bad test taker i know that - working on my anxiety - just sucks..... any advice/words are appreciated...
There are candidates that have taken the exam over THIRTY times! I'm not kidding. I don't know how anyone can afford that!

I hear ya! I just took it for the 3rd time earlier this week and didn't pass. I've done the Kaplan Review and the NCSBN online class. I also had 265 questions for the second time. I had 106, 265, and 265. I was REALLY close the second time, it stated when I received the results in the mail of near passing in all of the sections. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's difficult to tell your boss and loved ones that you didn't pass again!!! I really need to relax and possibly study differently?? I feel that Kaplan was very helpful. I do better with an instructor there instead of the online studying. Is there anyting else that I can do?

I'm sure you're not alone. I don't graduate till May so I haven't taken it but I'm sure I'm going to be setting a record. Don't give up!!!
I am using ATI Testing - they are great - i got the whole package so i could review with dvd's and books but they have all different packages - their assessments are great too - and i even paid 80 for a proctor via the computer to help assess my tests -
