Hey folks.
I was just wondering what people thought about taking FCCJ's pharm class online.
I know one person who said it was pretty tough, but a friend of mine (who's a nurse but didn't go to FCCJ) said that since it's mostly memorization, it probably wouldn't be so bad.
Does anyone have any opinions they wouldn't mind sharing?
Thank you!!!

I had pharm in the class room, but have spoke with others who took it on-line...myself, I think I had a better learning experience than they did. It's not an easy course. Just my . Good luck.

The people who have taken pharm online are struggling compared to those who took it in the classroom. Test results are confirming it, since there are only 2 tests and a final.
Have you chosen your classes/instructors yet?

Personally, I don't think I would have liked taking pharm online. There is so much material and at least with the instructor, they somewhat focus in on what is more important to study. I've heard though that soon they are going to pharm strictly online.
Yeah, I heard that too, but we still have to waste 3 hours in concepts-make sense to you?

i hope not for fall semester!!! i would definitely prefer an actual class as far as math-intensive courses go.
Its not math intensive, it is physiology and memorization, and after a while, it all runs together.
I know what you mean!! I'm so over this semester. Ready for #2!!!
lol, the mantra of week 13-I AM SO OVER THIS!!!
Sorry to hijack
i keep thinking there's math involved, haha. nonetheless the class still scares me and i'd be better off taking it in a classroom setting.

Just becasue your course is online doesnt mean you cant seek on campus help. I have taken many courses online and it takes alot of self discipline to get it all finished, but pace youreself and stay ontop of your work. ASK QUESTIONS sooner versus later! Study groups help too.
I am hoping that it wont be as bad as previous semesters online have sounded..
Sounds good in theory but the issue is there are only 3 pharm instructors, 1 is an adjunct and only on campus one day a week, the other is the term coordinator. And all three will have a clinical group, so trying to find the time to find one of them to sit down and talk to would be difficult.
