No problem. I almost applied to the January evening program, but am trying for UF's Accelerated BSN program. They have it here in Jax (at Shands). If I don't get in, I'm applying to FCCJ's next evening/weekend program (which will be August).
Also, if you haven't heard yet, this will be your schedule:
Tues/Thurs: 6pm to 9pm
Sat: 7am to 3:30pm
Sun: 1pm to 4pm
All at their Deerwood campus.
Good Luck!!
Speaking of points...I have been out of school for several years so I completed my pre-req's quite a while ago. I have a total of 154 points which is disappointing but still above the cut off threshold.
I have my B.S. degree already....has anyone ever heard of someone getting into FCCJ's nursing school with that low of points? I didnt know if perhaps might degree might help in some form or another.

Is the 154 before the NAT? If 154 is all points, including the NAT, you may want to look at other programs. JU has an Accelerated BSN program and it's a little easier to get in since it's private. Good luck.
Yes, 154 is my total points..NAT and grades together. I need a program that is at night and on weekends and FCCJ's program is the only one I could find.I'm assuming that JU's accelerated program is during the day...do you know?
Yes, JU is days. Maybe you could retake some classes? or the NAT?
If I'm not mistaken, you can't retake classes, except chemistry, which it has to be within 5 yrs since you last took it. If it is more than 5 then you gotta retake that class, for what reason, I don't know. Only school knows that. Or the other alternative is to take an entrance exam again for higher score. That's what i'm doing, studying for my retake.

Hello Everyone,
I submitted my app for FCCJ RN Program. I was just wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to get into the Night program. I have a family and i am trying to make sure to work out a good work schedule in expectation of hopefully getting in. I had a total amount of points of 208. Does anyone know if this is close to what I need to get in.
Thanks
