Welcome!  This is for anyone who is applying to "FAU 2nd Degree Part-Time BSN Track for Working Professionals" for the Fall 2021.  This program is an amazing opportunity for working adults.  Has anyone applied?  Know anyone that has applied?  Any suggestions/tips?

Hi everyone!

I have an interview coming up and I was just seeing if anyone could give me any tips? What kind of questions should I expect? I would really really appreciate it:)

Hi.  Congratulations on your interview.  To prepare I looked at previous cohorts and reviewed their posts.  Make sure you are dressed in business attire to interview.  Have a clean background behind you when you do interview with them.  I watched a multitude of Youtube nursing school interviews to see what other people’s experiences were like.   Be sincere, and be yourself.  Good luck!

Thanks same to u. I got an email from ------------------  last week stating that they r going to complete all the interviews first  before they make a decision. So they said we should get a response the middle of May.

Hi all, 

I had my interview today. I was very nervous and felt like I was talking very fast and they asked many questions. I hope we get good news soon. This is the only program I’ve applied to. I’ve had a very non traditional path with many hurdles along the way, but my goal is to practice clinical medicine as a nurse practitioner. Hoping this will be the start of my next journey. I wish you all best of luck!

Hi Liz,

Congratulations on your interview.  I felt the same way when I interviewed, so I’m sure they get it a lot.  When did you apply to the program?

I am glad I wasn’t the only one. 
I applied a bit late, just this month, because I needed to be certain I was coming back to Florida and was settled here with a job/place, as I was recently living in DC. 
 

 I just read on an earlier post that we will be hearing in May? So I guess time to not think about it till then. Haha

How are you managing?

LOL... it was so anxiety producing at first, but once they said we had to wait until May, I just let go of all the worry.  I may start getting stressed out again come May.  Did they tell you how many weeks it would take to hear, or just until May?
