Published

Welcome!  This is for anyone who is applying to "FAU 2nd Degree Part-Time BSN Track for Working Professionals" for the Fall 2021.  This program is an amazing opportunity for working adults.  Has anyone applied?  Know anyone that has applied?  Any suggestions/tips?

I know this is super late! But applying for Spring 2020, can anyone give insight to what their GPAs were and maybe the interview process?? ?

2022** OMG typo LOL

I had a 3.5, the interview process was normal I guess LOL

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can give any insight into this program? I was thinking about applying for the Spring cohort. Thanks!

I wish folks would have told me to prep for the program. I did not prep enough, but I don't know anyone who did. It's a difficult program, there is no part-time to it, its full time. I would apply again even with everything I have now had to live through because I have an end goal in mind. So I say go for it, don't let the small things discourage you and find good study partners in the first semester.

I agree with this statement. Anyone coming in, be ready to WORK! Yes, it's advertised as Part-Time, because it caters to evening/weekend schedules but it's Full-Time work and you have to stay on top of your assignments and due dates. When it comes to studying, it is not like how you studied for your undergrad degree... don't wait till the last minute. Nursing school is a different beast. Find a good study group/partner. Being shy can make or break you, so start working on getting out of your comfort zone and start building tough skin. I'm not trying to scare you I'm just being real. Once you are in the program, in the event you start to lose motivation... just remember your "Why" and your Purpose. I am a single parent with a little baby, work full time, a caregiver, and a student...my plate is literally full. The program is doable just be on top of your work, study, and reach out to one of your cohort classmates... they are always willing to help.
