FAU Accelerated Nursing Fall 2020

Hey! I applied before the deadline also and the person in charge of reviewing applications already notified me that she was reviewing mine. We should get our decisions in another week or so. Have you applied to any other nursing schools? Best of luck!

I'm hoping we get some good news soon! Yes, I've been accepted into two programs already, but I want to keep my options open. Have you applied to other programs?

Hi. I have gotten one acceptance but I'm also studying for the TEAS in order to apply to FIU which I currently go to. Same I want to keep my options open too. I’m really hoping for the best because my science GPA is not the best it could be.

Me too! I'm not sure how I will take the exam since the testing center is closed until further notice. I was hoping to take the exam in late May. My science GPA is okay, but it's not competitive. I'm hoping to do well on the TEAS test and in my video essay.

I’m going to talk to fiu nursing today and ask them about the TEAS situation I’ll let you know.

Hey so I asked the FIU advisor on what will happen with the TEAS and he said they are still trying to figure it out but they will have an update on their website as soon as they know. Also have you gotten an application decision yet or are you still waiting?

Hello,

I'm applying to the their accelerated program. I haven't done the video essay yet, but since the TEAS is on standby, I may try to submit my app sooner than later just in case they waive the TEAS (I'm not sure that they will, but just in case).

Also, have you heard anything from FAU?

Hi.

I'm also applying to FIU's accelerated program. I have my video from when I tried to get into their BSN program so I'm debating on whether to use it again or create a whole new video. How are your GPA's because I know last time I was a half a point off from the minimum science GPA that they require. I might take my time a bit when it comes to submitting my application for them since its due on July 1st.

I havent heard anything so far from FAU. They said they should be giving us a decision by this week more or less.

Hi,

I'm applying to FIU's Generic program. IDK but I've posted and no one replied; it seems like not much applicants are applying this year. Since you attend FIU, do you have any recent information on the programs? As far as I know, there are applicants that have yet to take the TEAS exam? I took the TEAS a week before self-quarantine.

You’re lucky you took it beforehand. You should get your decision in the Summer. I think I got mines in June if I’m not wrong. From what I know from friends currently in the program they currently have online classes but the faculty is still deciding about Fall.
