  1. It is accredited both regionally and nationally.
  2. Hey. I applied to FIU too and am an alumni, they usually give their decisions out late August to early September. I checked out Nova's policy for withdrawing from the school (in case I prefer going there). They say as long as you withdraw 20 days before the semester ends you should get back the full refund you can find this in the SEA agreement. But you should probably talk to financial aid they will know better. Good luck with FIU.
  3. They go by a point based system so GPA you get points, if you were a veteran you get points, volunteering you get points, etc. As for the video essay I don’t know why they removed it but my guess is probably because it takes up a lot of time.
  4. Hey. I don’t think COVID will affect the application numbers that much as I have applied to other universities and some have had huge numbers like 800 applications.
  5. Hey. You get the scores automatically and you could upload the score the same day to nursingcas because you download the pdf of the Individual Performance Report right after seeing the score. I'm taking mines on the 10th, so your not cutting it short if you have the rest of your application ready. Good luck on the TEAS.
  6. I am submitting volunteer hours from two summers ago at a doctor's office. Volunteer hours are not necessary I have friends who got into FIU's program without it, so don't worry about it.
  7. Hi. It’s is enough time with the deadline I took it into account and you would have two days extra incase of problems. If I’m not mistaken you don’t send them the score you just upload a screenshot/pdf of your score report.
  8. Hey! I'm planning on applying to the AO track. I'm taking the TEAS on the 26th of June so ill have a month and a bit to study. Trying to aim for the high 80's/90's if possible. Have you taken the exam yet?
  9. It’s four semesters.
  10. Hahaha. Interesting so I guess they only tell FIU students about it.
  11. Yeah I’m somewhat familiar with it. So pretty much you get a certain amount of points for each criteria. Ex. 2 points for prior military service 5 points for video essay 3 points for GPA 5 points for TEAS Sorry I don’t really remember the exact point system. You can call FIU to talk to an advisor and they would be able to tell you more about it.
  12. I wouldn’t be too nervous it’s just a number and says nothing about who you are. Just make sure you come across well and genuine on the video essay. Also I don’t know if you’re familiar but FIU has a point system when it comes to deciding on who to admit to their program.
  13. That’s something I really don’t know. It’s kind of hard to tell right now what’s going to happen a month from now. I’ve been contemplating on whether to even go next fall because the whole situation with the coronavirus and the fact that the first semester is usually the hardest to adapt to. What about you?
  14. You’re lucky you took it beforehand. You should get your decision in the Summer. I think I got mines in June if I’m not wrong. From what I know from friends currently in the program they currently have online classes but the faculty is still deciding about Fall.
