FAU Accelerated BSN Spring 2018

Hi everyone! I'm applying to FAU for the accelerated program beginning spring 2018. I made this thread to ask my own questions and so other people can do the same.

Anyone else taking classes this summer concerned that the deadlines been moved up? How am I supposed to get my application verified in a week if summer grades are posted Aug 9th and the new deadline is Aug 18th?

Hi all! Did any of you hear back from your interview? When did you interview? Per Chere there were over 1000 applicants this year! Do you know how many of the 1000 applicants interviewed?

It was 80 interviewed. It was a solo interview this year with 6 questions. The two women who interviewed me said we should hear back in 3 weeks. My interview was Friday afternoon.

Only 80 interviewed? How did you find that out? I could have sworn on the sign in list there were over 90 names?

I couldn't say for sure, but in all previous years those were the numbers. It's always 40 admitted as per the school's funding. Good luck to you as well. And yes, I applied to a few other schools.

Hi everyone!

I had my interview September 26. I'm wondering how many interview days they had. Getting super anxious waiting to hear back. My sibling went to FAU's accelerated nursing program and made it seem like if you get an interview you should be good to go, but these numbers are worrying me. How does everyone think their interview went? I feel like mine was ok, but nothing spectacular. I'm also wondering what is more important: your credentials or your interview.

Renee! Congratulations! I interviewed the same day. I haven't heard anything yet, but from what I understand it's going to be at least 2-3 weeks to hear something. I have the same questions that you do, so if anybody else has the answers that would be awesome! Good luck í ½í¸Š

I think they had 4 or 5 interviewing days because my interview was on Friday 29th and I know someone who had their interview scheduled for today October 3rd.

Oh wow. They were interviewing into this week also? I understand that this year they did things differently; One interviewee per interview instead of 3 or 4 applicants. I'm curious to know how many they interviewed and when we will hear. Hoping it won't take the full 3 weeks as they said.

Good luck in your future endeavors! This program is so competitive I'm really unsure if I will get in. I haven't gotten an email. I figured they send them all out at once, but I guess not.

Hey guys! So I got put on the wait list. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back if put on the wait list? Or how many people are on it??
