Published

Im a Foreign Graduate Nurse from PI. Just want to ask What state replied or give eligibility so fast? thanks

Is there anybody here that is a philippines nursing graduate that got approved to take the exam at texas after being denied by cali BON? Thanks a lot.. :)

Yes, many several have and some even reported getting their first RN job there. So far, it seems that's the only state whereby recent NCLEX-RN passers have been getting good luck and these are not clinical or dialysis center jobs, but hospital jobs (don't most Phils prefer that?).

Look under the step-by-step instructions thread for the TX requirements and you'll see it's there.

The question do you wish to work and practice in TX as soon as you pass the NCLEX-RN like they did or plan to endorse (and to where and why)?

Um, what?!

Yes, there are two more "frequent" posters, troikaenerio and FlamingWallFlower, who have commented that they both are now working as RN's in TX (I think both have either no paid hospital experience and or just had some volunteer time in the Phils hospital. There have been a couple of other PH posters (not so frequent) who reported they too are employed in a TX hospital in a new grad position or maybe as a RN1 job.

I think one is in suburb of TX but not sure of the others, I'm thinking probably in the rural areas where US grads may not want to work in for whatever reasons. Maybe these posters can chime in if they see this and can update themselves.
