FAMU Nursing Spring 2012

So I know it's somewhat far out, but anyone planning to apply to FAMU's nursing school in Spring 2012? I'm currently AD USAF, but I will be separating VERY soon (yay! and sad at the same time :crying2:) to pursue school full time. I'm still a few classes short of my A.A., but hoping to have it by summer next year. Anybody else in the same boat? Or am I floating by myself?

yes ma'am, i'm from around here so i dnt have to look for housing. i am looking for a place closer to campus, tho, but because i have a house full of stuff, i'm not looking for student housing, i'm looking for a house or maybe a townhouse someplace where it's quiet. yeah i'm gonna call on the date indicated on the letter, i'll let u know what time it's scheduled for. hope to meet u there!

If I get in and you need a roommate I'd be happy to talk about it! I really don't want to live in student housing bc I need a quiet place but with the amount of time that they give me to look for a place that might be my only option! I hope to see you there too!!

Hey Hrobertson, I have also received an interview for FAMU SON for spring 2012. I have to schedule an appointment on the 29th. I know it's just an interview but this my third time applying to the school and they finally requested to see me. I have never heard of anyone else having to go through an interview since I been going to this school but most people have 3.5's when they get in.

Hmm, that is weird. Maybe it's a new thing that they are doing. Congrats though! Hopefully we will all get it!

Yea i think it's something new they are doing but I'm not sure. Thank you and congrats to you as well. After I call them next Tuesday I will let you all know what time my interview is for the 2nd. I hope we all get in as well... Ughhh I'm so nervous during interviews though but I'm thankful for the opportunity.

I got an email also requesting for an interview. But I was wonder does any one else live in Miami. If so, How were you planning on doing the interview? I tried calling and asking whether if they are going to be able to do an interview over the phone, or do I have to drive up there to do the interview....Imma bit worried and frustrated.

I would assume you would have to go there to interview because if it's like UNF, then it's a group interview. I live in Jax and I'm drive driving up there. But I would jut talk to them about it when you call on the 20th to set up the interview

Hey there, the email didn't say anything except that we got an interview and to call her and set one up. What time is your interview?
