Oh no. I'm so sorry. Seems all states are different. Where I live they can send it out for
confirmation via gas chromatography test and if it's still positive if you were to remember "Oops. I ate something with alcohol or used mouthwash " they would forgive it if there were no prior false positive tests. They don't accept a false positive without explanation in my state
.Someone else here who had a false positive here just had it forgiven without an "Oops, I uses mouthwash, if I get a false positive peth I'll definitely be remembering I accidentally used mouthwash but that's in my state. I hope you get thus figured out. So close. I fear false positive tests.

They should have enough to retest though. They take 2x as much urine and blood as needed for retest if needed.
Hopefully it was entered in error and you can prove it.
I am not a fan of the PeTH test. Here is a link to some recent research on the sensitivity to the test. It is archaic and shouldn't be used absolutely for us at this point:

I would ask for additional testing by hair or nail for confirmation of your compliance.
Best of luck!
Argue it. It detects for up to 28 days after last use. Also ask the chain of command and why did you get results at 11p. Also talk to your OCP about what could have caused it. Hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes etc

I am 4 months away from completing my 5 year RNP agreement and am now living a nightmare. I had a peth test Tuesday and received a notification in my Affinity app at 11pm last night that it was positive. There is absolutely, positively no way as I have t drank in almost 5 years. Has anyone had a positive result posted when they were actually negative? I'm assuming this has to be human error. Although I'm not sure who enters the results into affinity. If anyone had had a similar experience please help, I'm trying not to lose it!
