I have followed previous threads related to applying to Wake Tech's competitive nursing program. I will be applying by January 31 in hopes of starting their nursing program in the fall of 2018. I am currently finishing prerequisites and will be taking the TEAS in January. I hope to be in the 162 point range if I complete my current courses with A's (bio 169 and hum 115) and get top scores on the TEAS (several ifs!).

Anyone else want want to keep up a dialogue as we approach the application deadline? I'd also love to hear from folks on alternate nursing programs and comparisons to the Wake Tech curriculum if anyone has some info to offer.

I have heard they are changing the point structure after this application submission and am also curious if anyone has solid info on that.

Has anybody gotten their acceptance letter yet? My mail came...it wasn't in it today...

Mine is coming today. I get the email of my "informed delivery" email early in the morning and I can see a picture of an envelope from wake tech. It's a small, window envelope with 47 cents postage on it. Now I'm paranoid because I thought it would be a 9x12 envelope with lots of info, lol. Either way I'll be anxious until the mail comes which isn't normally until 4 or 5 o'clock.

Oh wow! For some reason my email did not send me a notification when comments were posted. Suebeecron, do you live in the Raleigh area? I just wanted to know how long it might take for me to get the envelope.

I am in Raleigh off Glenwood Avenue -- probably 3 or 4 miles from Crabtree Valley Mall if that helps. I promise to post the news when I get it -- good or bad! :)

I am mainly worried that for some reason I did not sign my application or it was lost somehow! I worry over everything though. I just handed it to the lady at the front desk, so I assume it made it to the batch.

Arrrgghhh!! I just left town for the weekend and the mail had not arrived yet! Our mail carrier is super erratic. The other day he arrived before noon, some days it's not until 4pm. Oh well, I guess I'll let y'all know on Sunday when I get home!! Good luck everyone!!!

I literally met with an advisor and had him look it over for me to make sure I hadn't missed anything, lol.

Ohmigosh, I was going to ask if anyone could check your mail for you but that wouldn't do any good either! You wouldn't want anyone else to open it! I wish y'all the best of luck!
