Fall 2018 PBSC Nursing Applicants

Published

Who is applying to the Fall 2018 Full-Time Program?

Has anyone taken their Hesi yet and if so, how was it?

Okay, I started getting really nervous because I only have 23.73 points, but everyone is coming out with these crazy numbers! I've seen 24.9 up to 25.7 and I felt like I already am not going to get in. The lowest they accepted for Fall last year was 23.54 I think? If not it was a little higher. But the new HESI scoring system bumps everyone up by about half a point. I am so worried that you will need at least a 24 to get in this semester. It would have been easier if I attended PBSC and took NUR1024, but I am a transfer student and was not offered that class.

Your not alone, the new point system is giving me anxiety attacks. I have 24.80 and I feel like I won't be getting in.

Hi. This waiting game is so hard! One more day, hopefully! I have 25.65 points. I took the critical thinking in nursing for an extra point and got a 94.45 on the hesi. Good luck to everyone!

I think you are more than fine!

I just got an email about the pharmacology course explaining that a Welcome Letter is to come in the next few days, by Monday. I GOT IN! Congratulations to everyone who made it, too! It feels like a weight has been lifted off of my chest. Now comes the hard work!

Congrats!!!

How many points did you have?

I got the same email! Congrats!

I had 27.2, but everyone had been saying that the points system changed which had me worried that I was toward the median. Good luck!

I did not get in, i missed by .03 points. Does anyone know if it easier to get in, in the spring. Is there anything i can do to appeal this. It really sucks to miss it by so little.

Specializes in None yet.

It all depends on the application pool... But in general there's less applicants..

Does anybody know if the healthcare programs have to be completed by the time of applications to earn the extra point?

did you get in with the 24.80 ?
