Has anyone taken their Hesi yet and if so, how was it?

PBSC (A.S.)Nursing Fall 2018 Applicants

Hey. Yes I am planning to apply in the Fall 2018. I will try to find the page. I am going to try the HESI study groups. No other schools take NUR1141 or NIR1045 the ones PBSC allow us to take before we get in. Thank you for your help

I was thinking about trying the study groups also. I wonder how good they are.

Hey Canegurl07, what I am using to study for HESI is the Admission Assessment Exam Review - 4th Edition - by Elsevier, and I'm using the PBSC website (they have a link to practice questions here: "http://www.hesia2practicetest.com/".

When you find out let me know. I added that group but no one ever accepted my page. Name is Jaye Long On FB I only have 1 lr 2 friends. It's a page I jus use for my nursing I don't have anything o it

Hi also applying for the Fall 2018 program. I recently got certified as a CNA and in previous applications I'm pretty sure that counted as an extra point under the college education system. However on this years application it seems to not be there anymore. Can anyone confirm for me if being certified as a CNA still counts as an extra point on the application?

its no longer an extra point

Hey, so I got an 89% on my HESI; and I calculated that I'll have a total of 25.8 points. I'm applying for this fall semester but I really don't know what is considered a good amount of points so if anyone could let me know I'd really appreciate it. Best of luck to everyone :)

I got 89% on my HESI as well!

25.8 is great, you'll get in. i have like 24ish I think... minimum will probably be 24.4.

For spring 2018 the minimum was like 23.6, and fall 2017 minimum was 23.8 or something.... but they just changed the HESI A2 point system so I'm just guessing.. but I think minimum fall 2018 will be 24.4?

Oh my goodness thanks! I hope that you're right, I've been trying to get into a nursing program for the longest tbh I need it to finally happen so I can stop feeling like I'm in limbo. Crossing my fingers that we both get in :)

I Applied for the fall term. i took the hesi and got an 87as my composite score. took all of my pre-reqs, my gpa however, is not the best (2.76; even tho they ask for a minimum of 2.5)i hope i make the cut to get my degree. :)

Took my Hesi and applied to the program today... fingers crossed
