Anyone else taking Assessment for Fall third session?
Suggestions from anyone who has taken it already?
Rowdy piper: Think it is only chapter 12 and 20. I just went through the subjective and objective sections to collect my data. Now trying to figure out Narrative.
Number 3 in the directions for the assignment says "Use Chapters 12 through 20 in the Jarvis textbook to complete this assessment".
I checked the rubric and it is looking for "Focused health and physical assessment of Respiratory/Cardiac".
This stinks.
I was looking at the rubric under the grades section. You guys make sense. I'm making this harder than it needs to be, as usual. Sorry for being difficult. I guess I'll do some editing and call myself ahead of the game in case I can use the info for later weeks.
Looking forward to our time off. Big Time.

No problem!

When I looked at the chapters between 12 and 20, there were a few points in them on lymphatics ( head, chest, abdomen). So my take was to use the lymphatic from those chapters and focus on 12 and 20 for the more thorough assessment. But these directions stink... we shouldn't have to guess about what they want.

Still so confused what is the narrative??? Do you just summarize all the information you got under heading subjective data and objective data anyone have any input my TA is not responding to the questions

Yeah, I'm kinda stuck with the summary as well. I'm guess rephrase what we've already done?? Maybe with the abnormal stuff. My assessment was on a 4 yr old, he's healthy, so not a lot of abnormal findings. I still need to do my DB replies and my Lit. review...I'm just draggin' my feet this week.

Once you go through all the systems Integumentary, peripheral vascular and lymph systems and collected all the data. You write one narrative for all three systems together only focusing on the problems correct? Thanks
