Fall 2016 MCPHS applicants

Published

Has anyone else applied or planning to apply to MCPHS for fall 2016...my application is currently being processed. I'm applying as a transfer student. Is MCPHS acceptance rate high? I'm nervous. I haven't completed any college math courses, but completed all my bio classes, English courses, social science courses, history, etc. good luck!

I actually got a call back from **** the admission counselor. She gave me a few options one which is getting my health careers and BSN at the same time starting I'm the boston campus the first 15 months then ending up possibly in a nursing program in worcester or Manchester which I don't want or doing dual at worcester and Manchester right away lastly was a waiting list.

Hello Ladies, I applied in Feb for the Accelerated BSN in Boston has anyone got accepted ?

Hi Mary! Did you end up hearing back? Hope so 😊

Disregard the last message. **** also contacted me suggesting I minor in something because I have completed most of my year 1 classes except 2. I am thinking I should minor in Public health. But Its GREAT that you have the option....Good Luck!

Hello, I applied the same time as you. I still have not heard anything. I called two weeks ago and all they could tell me was that my application was still under review. I'm going to try calling again tomorrow. Have you or anyone else heard anything else back?

Hopefully you hear back this upcoming weel

I finally received a letter from MCPHS and was not accepted directly into their nursing program. I was only given the option for the dual degree program starting in Boston working on my bachelors in Health science, then begin my BSN during my 3rd year at either Manchester or Worcester. This program is 4 1/2 years to complete. Considering I've already been working on my pre-reqs for the last two years this option really sucks. I've been denied every where else as of now. Thinking of working on a few more classes and start applying to some other programs for Spring/Fall 2017 semester elsewhere.

Did you have an interview first or did the response just come in the mail with no interview?

I have a question about loans. Do you guys know if I have to take out a loan that lasts for all four semesters or is it two separate loans? One for fall 2016-spring 2017 and then another one for summer 2017-fall 2017.

Still waiting for a decision to be made. My application was finalized April 5th. When do you think we should hear back?

This really sucks I'm getting kinda desperate aswell

I would say early-mid may. It takes a few weeks. I applied in November and heard back the last week of December. At this point it's rolling admission so you should get a response soon.

I didn't need to go for an interview. I think only those applying for the pharmacy/PA go for interviews... Not sure

I believe you have to take it out each semester? I know it's automatic
