Fall 2016 MCPHS applicants

Has anyone else applied or planning to apply to MCPHS for fall 2016...my application is currently being processed. I'm applying as a transfer student. Is MCPHS acceptance rate high? I'm nervous. I haven't completed any college math courses, but completed all my bio classes, English courses, social science courses, history, etc. good luck!

I'm super nervous just waiting to hear back... I also applied to UMass Boston so I'll be waiting for that response too...

With your GPA there is NO way you are not getting in. I also applied to Salem state as well! You're so in....

My friend had a 2.5 gpa and was accepted with minimum experience

Hi to all.

I have a question. Is it necessary to have 2 recommendation letters. I was planning to have two. One from my employer and one from my university professor and he promised me last semester that he would write me one. When I got back to school this semester, he is no where to be found nor answering my emails. What should I do in this case? He is one of the few that I had contact with while in their class. Also, how easy was it for you guys to get into MCPHS. Thank you for your help.

Same thing happened to me. I only submitted one letter of recommendation from an employer and was accepted 😌

I had one employer and one academic :-) and I worked in direct care/human services.

well i dont really work in the health field since I still a full time student and will be graduating this spring. I just finally figured out my career path during the past fall. The only health experience I had was during high school where I volunteered at the hospital once a week for 8 hours every summer helping out with discharging patients, shadowing different departments, and be a helping hand. I'm not sure if that will help me get into MCPHS. My gpa is around a 3.5. So I'm praying that I would get in as MCPHS is one of my top choices.

Since you're a student, I think it'd definitely be important to have an academic recommendation also. :-) Lots of people from my cohort came from non-traditional backgrounds. Good luck! :)

Hello, I applied the same time as you. I still have not heard anything. I called two weeks ago and all they could tell me was that my application was still under review. I'm going to try calling again tomorrow. Have you or anyone else heard anything else back?
