Has anyone else applied or planning to apply to MCPHS for fall 2016...my application is currently being processed. I'm applying as a transfer student. Is MCPHS acceptance rate high? I'm nervous. I haven't completed any college math courses, but completed all my bio classes, English courses, social science courses, history, etc. good luck!

Hi Tammy,
Are you applying to transfer into the Boston 4-year program? Or into the Worcester/Manchester ABSN?
Good luck! :)
Hi CiaMia,
I applied to the ABSN program... Patiently waiting to hear back from them. How about you? Do you also plan on starting in fall?
I'm actually finishing it up right now, 5 more weeks! :) I've never heard of someone transferring into the ABSN though -- are you already in an ABSN program..?
Just re-read your OP and still a bit confused... you have a degree? Or no..? for the ABSN, it's specifically post-baccalaureate and you must have a degree and all prerequisites completed. That includes stats (ie., college level math and beyond).
Sorry! I applied to the accelerated nursing program in Boston!
Sorry for the confusion
Congrats on almost finishing the program! I'm sure it was intense.
ahh, okay, so the 32-month program, not the 16-month post-bacc ABSN :-) no idea about overall admission stats to that program I'm afraid! I do know when I went for an info day, they said they only admitted 1/2 transfer students because that's how many people weren't continuing the program. Good luck!!
Oh wow! I'm seriously crossing my fingers. When you applied how long did it take for them to respond? Did you apply in November?
I am also looking at different options as well... MCPHS is rather expensive.
I think I applied officially in May or so; it took about 2 months to hear back because my undergrad degree is from the UK so it had to go through equivalency testing as well as all the usual transcript stuff.
