Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I don’t know what your first choice campus is, but at CF we went over the syllabus the first day then jumped right in. In fact, I think our first exam was about 3 weeks in.

Where did you hear that you won’t report to class the first 3 weeks?

From what i have read and heard we will be getting all our information about the program and getting acclimated with the campus, staff and things of that sort! But we’ll still be learning and everything because i think we have two exams that third week! One math exam and another one

From what i have read and heard we will be getting all our information about the program and getting acclimated with the campus, staff and things of that sort! But we’ll still be learning and everything because i think we have two exams that third week! One math exam and another one

The first 3 weeks are going over the syllabus, orientation, math review and test, and lecture for the first test. Also there’s a pediatric day where the sim lab nurse comes and lectures for a few hours and there’s a day where you go from room to room learning about basic stuff like hand washing and PPE.

You definitely report to class it’s just the first 3 weeks won’t be like our permanent at schedules!

If you’re taking it over the summer I will advise you to take prof noeller. She makes the class easy and enjoyable, I took her last summer

I can't submit my application without my HESI scores right? and can the advisors see what documents I have submitted without the application being submitted? Thanks!

No you can not submit without your scores and Idk you may be able to take a chance and go meet them face to face to see if they’ll look at your documents but no they normally don’t look at your docs until they check application and if something is wrong they’ll let you know
