Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Montgomery gets more and more competitive each year, so make sure you have a high score! The lowest score they accept last year was a 7.55! I had a 7.47 and didn't get in. I absolutely love the NH campus and it's an amazing program. I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone has ?
I’m new to AllNurses (and lonestar too). I looked at NH’s most recent NCLEX Passing Rate and saw that it was 119 students in total. How are the courses I guess “grouped/sectioned” in terms of number of students?

The nursing advisor's email works just fine. She's the one who told me we don't need insurance as well as two students who currently attend the program.
It's hard for me to believe either. Why other campuses but not us? I know for sure we have to get the liability insurance. I'll try to reach out to the director at some point to clarify.
I wouldn’t take a risk. There is a liability form that LSC is not responsible if anything happens to you during school and it’s all in you. Form is mandatory and to be honest, that scared me too, so I’m having my heath insurance through my husbands work as I won’t be working during NS ?

What campus did you get accepted at for LVN? I’m an alternate at Kingwood and Montgomery but my first choice of campus is Kingwood. I’ve been hoping I get a call soon if people are giving up their spots
