Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know where I can get immunizations?

Your doctor or somewhere like H-E-B. Most vaccinations are free.

For the acceptance/rejection/waitlist emails that y'all got, did it use those words? Like you're accepted/rejected/waitlisted? Because mine didn't mention any of those. It just said the pool had a total of 599 applicants and 260 got in and that they've reached their capacity.

Sounds like a rejection email. If you were accepted it says clearly that you've been chosen to participate. Alternates got an email stating that they were put on the alternate list. Hope this helps.

I got all of my immunizations and tests at a Cvs minute clinic

That's what I thought. Thanks for your help!

What all did that price include?

Y'all if you have health insurance most immunizations are free. Most clinics/doctors have them on hand to administer and most don't need a prescription. It is a preventative measure so your health insurance should cover it at no cost to you.

Still have to get insurance. Just trying to find the cheapest route. I thought a previous poster said we wouldn't have to have health insurance.

EVERY nursing program requires you to hold health and . Liability insurance is covered in the cost of tuition I believe.
