Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I just got off the phone with Montgomery, since they were my first choice, and they said not all the letters have been sent out and to just wait. I understand that my score wasn’t as high as the rest of you all, if only I could have pulled an A in the 3 week English class I took instead of a B :( it would have raised my score to a 7.408 Ugggghhh. If they are going to reject me just send me a letter already. This waiting is killing me.

I know in past years they’ve waited a few days after all acceptance letters went out to send the rejection letters. But it’s weird she says all letters haven’t gone out because when I spoke with her yesterday she said all campuses had sent everything out but north Harris, then north Harris sent theirs out shortly after.

No worries y’all, I’m waiting on an email or call from either Tomball or north Harris when a spot opens ?? 7.376 I shouldn’t be too far! But yea I hate waiting lol.

Wait. You can't make the appointment. The board of nursing will send the request and you'll make the appointment based on the Service Code they get from IdentoGO and send to you in the request.

I was just told that the nursing director at Montgomery is on vacation so I should expect an email Thursday or Friday.

Has everyone else joined the north Harris class of 2021 page on Facebook that just got accepted?

I got rejected from all 4. I called CyFair and they told me. Still no letter stating it. This sucks. I'm sure if you haven't heard anything yet I would consider it a rejection and good luck next time. All acceptance and waitlist people have been notified. This is so aggravating. Oh well I guess more time to finish my prerequisites for a BSN program.

Anyone applying with me for LVN montgomery/Kingwood? Deadlines on Friday I Hope and Pray it acceptance/denial letters aren't as crazy as RN acceptances this go round !

It’s so frustrating that they aren’t sending rejection letters. Thanks for calling and letting us know!
