Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know how the process works if we've been accepted to our 2nd choice but want to be an alternate for the 1st choice? It looks like lowest accepted for Montgomery was 7.648, my score was 7.586 wish I knew how many were ahead of me.

The should’ve sent a letter to intent email and you can choose if you want to give up your spot or be waitlisted

Just got home from work. Is there a way to see what my score is? Or was it only available when my application was submitted? I didn’t know that there was a visible score at any time. I thought the schools were the only ones that saw them. If someone wants to text me so I don’t take up any more space on here would be fine. 910-467-6554

Lec: Mon & Tues 1100-1330

Lab: Mon -Thursday, the times may vary but on Monday and Tuesday it’s usually right after lecture 1330-1530. On Wednesday and Thursday they have a Morning option 0800-1100 and Afternoon 1330-1530.

Clinicals: Are once a week from 6:00am-4:30 pm Wednesday/Thursday/Friday or Saturday

Is this schedule the same for everyone in the program?

You figure your score by taking your GPA from English and AP1 (Two As is a 4) and adding that to your HESI score divided by 25.

For example if you had a 4.0 that's 4 points

then got a 95 on the HESI. 95/25 is 3.8 so your score would be 7.8.

Ok... so i got a 6.978 and applied to Tomball, Montgomery, CyFair, and North Harris. I have not heard any acceptance, rejection or put on a waitlist for any of them.
