Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

It appears your Hep B was not verified due to the name on your Hep B vaccine record. The last name on the document is incomplete and there are is no other identifying information on the lab result to connect you to the report. Therefore, your application was un-submitted as incomplete.

Guess I apply for summer... would of been nice if they had sent me an email that I just needed to add a name from my doctor.... All that work for a 7.61 and to be ruined for a partial name not being on it. I submitted 10 days before the deadline too. I need a drink.

Thats horrible, you should see if they can do an appeal. That's just not right they should have contacted you especially since they delayed notifications this long. There's a process for this there's someone above the nursing director you can go to.

Does anyone know how the process works if we've been accepted to our 2nd choice but want to be an alternate for the 1st choice? It looks like lowest accepted for Montgomery was 7.648, my score was 7.586 wish I knew how many were ahead of me.

You just call and let them know you would rather wait to get into your first choice! Just letting you know that means you give up your spot n get placed on the alternate list!

I agree. They should have sent you an email stating they unsubmitted your app so you could fix it. I had a mistake on one of my documents and I was notified that my application had been unsubmitted and to fix the problem and was able to re submit my fixed app. That's messed up on their part.

I think you would qualify for the appeal, there was definitely error on their part for not notifying you. And this is something minor they have us verify the hep b again anyway after acceptance.

Lab: Mon -Thursday, the times may vary but on Monday and Tuesday it’s usually right after lecture 1330-1530. On Wednesday and Thursday they have a Morning option 0800-1100 and Afternoon 1330-1530.

Clinicals: Are once a week from 6:00am-4:30 pm Wednesday/Thursday/Friday or Saturday
