Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Ok great! I’m over analyzing everything. Just wish we all had an answer of some sort. I wish everyone that applied was on this forum so we could get a rough estimate ?

You have a 7.504 that’s the the cut off for spring! If you can get in during spring application you good for the fal

No they haven't but I'm still waiting on one more requirement to be completed. She sent an email like two weeks ago saying she would begin registering us for classes soon once we had the requirements complete on castlebranch.

@Nij13 Ugh! Here’s my problem. My score was 7.504 for LVN not for RN. I just discovered this not too long ago ?. Because I received a “B” in my English many moons ago(I’m so OLD!) my score for RN is 7.054. So I actually need to be edited on that list. I didn’t even realize I was still on there with that score. I have taken all my prereqs and just finished my RN pharm class today. I unfortunately did not get accepted into the Fall ADN program. Of course, they had a ton of applicants with MUCH higher scores than mine. That is why I applied to LVN in case I didn’t make the cut for RN. I’m not getting any younger ?.

@cys95 My documents were completed at least 2 weeks ago. She told me they would go ahead and register me. I still haven’t heard anything. I don’t want to email or call bc I know they are busy. I’m thinking maybe they will start registering after the 15th??? But it’s SO close to starting!

You and I are in a similar situation. I have a B in English from way back when also. However, I retook it this semester and should be changing it to an A. My score right now is a 7.174. With the A it should jump to a 7.6 if I don't get in this round. And yes, I'm old too...

@kvg74 LOL! I bet I have you beat! I’m 37 ? I still think you are in a great spot with a 7.174!!!

It was brutal. 5 essays, 2 had to be written in class. I took Pharm and A&P 2 this semester too. English wore me out more than those 2.

Well dang! I ate my words on that one! It’s never too late though!!! I wish I would have done this straight out of HS. It’s much harder with kids!
