anyone waiting for acceptance to lone star college-north harris campus?

guess i am the only one here that applied for lsc and i just found out that it will probably be the end of april before i hear anything, instead of the first of april like i thought.

oh well, more time to make more plans (c,d,e)....lol

I applied, but I am still in A&PII and haven't taken microbiology yet so I know that I won't get in.. I'm not sure where you posted this but you may get more responses if you post it under the region-Texas thread. How did you hear the letters will be sent out later? I will probably just take Bachelor core classes and apply for my Bachelor's next January instead of applying to Kingwood and Cyfair for the Jan 09 start date, but I haven't made up my mind yet- unfortunately I have a lot of time to consider it...

i emailed the college and they said it looks like they will go out around april 15th. :rolleyes:

I've also applied to Lone Star for the fall. I've been anxiously awaiting a letter for the first week in April. Now I'm going to be even more stressed that I may have to wait another 2 weeks to find out if I got in or not. I plan on taking pharmacology this summer at one of the Lone Star campuses. Any recommendations on an instructor?

i am taking pharm at the north harris campus and my instructor is julie kendall. i think she is terrific, she tells you what you need to know and she tells stories about things she has run across at work, she is a l & d nurse.

I thought I read on one of the Lonestar colleges nursing websites that they are considering requiring the NET test as one of the prerequisites and determinates in getting in to their campuses for the 2009 applicants. Has anyone else heard that?

i read the same thing as well. the hesi will be replaced by the net for the spring and fall '09 applicants.
