FALL 2020 INTAKE: SELKIRK COLLEGE/VIU/COTR/NORTHISLANDCOLLEGE

Hey guys!

I didn't see any forum topic for any 2020 INTAKES AT:

-Selkirk College

-VIU

-North Island College

-College of the Rockies

So I decided to open one for those that applied !

I applied to all the schools noted above. I also applied for UFV (but they won't accept my application because for some reason they can't find the email forwarded by my volunteer coordinator and my GPA is too low) .

I applied with grades:

BIO12: 83% B MATH 11: 79% B+ ENGL 12: B CHEM 11: 88% A

I also completed the KPU HEALTH FOUNDATIONS CERTIFICATE, where I took the prereqs:

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY I AND II (C+) AND English 1100 (B) .

So far, I've been accepted to Selkirk College and seat fee is due on March 27 which I will defs pay for while I wait to hear back from VIU AND NORTH ISLAND (my preff choices as closer to home)

ANYONE ELSE????

OMG I’m glad someone is on the same boat as me ! I haven’t heard back from the island yet but I think it’s not until end of April or early May :(

Hi everyone!

I only applied to COTR and then a few other schools, but I got accepted into COTR for the fall 2020! And my grades were around the same as your guys!!

Have you heard back from the schools yet??

Good morning!

I actually went and accepted my offer at COTR when I heard from them. I hope you both hear back from the other schools soon! The waiting part is hard!

I applied for the fall '20 intake for VIU as well and the past couple years the letters have gone out at the end of this coming week. I applied with an A in English and Biology, and A- in Chem and saaadly they took my interim mark for my Math which was a C+ because of COVID messing up the weight of everything that same week as I'm up to a B+ now.

I just saw my rejection for VIU online! Good luck everyone!! I am waiting on North island college last but other than that, selkirk college is the way to go for me.... I got into COTR but I already paid $500 seat fee for selkirk... ?

Logged into my VIU account last night and got my offer for the fall! Good luck everyone, if you can’t wait for the letter in the mail try logging into your student account :)

Does anyone know if VIU has a waitlist?

VIU does not have a waitlist, my GPA was 3.79.
