Hey everyone! Wanted to go ahead and start a thread for our group. I've been following the spring and summer 2013 group a little and figured it might be a good idea to get focused for the fall 2013 group. I've completed all my prerequisites and took my NAT test. Got a 107 on the test and I'm sitting at a 93 will all the prerequisites. So I'm going into the application process with a 203. Does anyone know what the general cut off is? I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure everyone else is too. The only thing I haven't completed is the CPR. I read once that this can be done after acceptance into the program...is that true? Thanks everyone! Can't wait to start chatting!

Almost got everything done... i think. Going to labcorp in the morning and I think I will have all of the paperwork ready to submit. Did they check over your folder when you turned it in?
No they did not.
I was also hoping that someone there could just glance over my paperwork in case something wasn't right. A little peace of mind, ya know.
The woman at the front desk said that they will call if you if need be.

AND still waiting to hear from worksource... anyone know how long it usually takes to get the official approval? I am 2 weeks into my waiting.
I had my intake appointment yesterday and she told me it would be two weeks before I heard something. So maybe we should hear something before orientation. Sorry couldn't be much help.
You guys know how universities make sure that minority groups get a change of acceptance. Is it the same for the nursing program at FSCJ or do they only care about the points and not the person.
I am sorry, but Florida banned affirmative action use in higher learning institutions ten years ago. Minority status is not a consideration on the nursing application. The program appears to be fairly competitive, but anyone with decent grades has a chance to be accepted.
