Is anyone applying to cal state east bay this fall for fall 2017 ???! nursing program
I'm really curious why CSUEB NCLEX pass rates are quite a bit lower than SAC or CSULA. SAC, IMO is an all-star when it comes to the NCLEX, performing consistently higher than 95% and pushing through about ~150 candidates a year. AND its a 2-year program. They gotta be doing something right! Much better than SFSU as well. Anybody got a clue here?
Thanks for the update. I'm still pretty stressed since the other program I was accepted to STARTS on the 30th. I hope they figure things out soon.
Also, I spoke to a friend in the program about the NCLEX pass rates. She thinks less time spent on theory would be more helpful, as well as less time doing busy paperwork, etc. Regardless, I think she'll be fine passing her NCLEX because she's smart and puts in great of effort. Overall, she loves the program and is learning a lot. (I hope I get in!)
Ugh, the waiting is horrendous............................................
I got my rejection letter ;[ Well csu east bay was my last last resort.

I did not get in either. Not even waitlisted. I have a 4.0 and an 88% on the TEAS...for reference.
I live in socal, so I didn't really want to move up north yet. My grades were nowhere near yours. I wanted to be local and i'm waiting for their letters.
Good luck, I hope you can get in too. I think it's easier for you to get in than in comparison to me.
