Fall 2015 City Colleges of Chicago people?

Hey y'all,

I submitted my application for the city college ADN program earlier this year and since it is May, I figured I would start this topic for when the admissions decisions come back in a few weeks! I hope I get in, I would be so happy if I did.

I remember the physical, but it is a vague memory (I was 9 months pregnant so my memory was shot) but I think that I had paperwork that Truman gave me?? I am assuming the email we are waiting for will have the details. Let's hope we get those tomorrow.

I got in BTW!! Yay us!

Hey everyone, just came across this board on my search for some answers. I'm still waiting to hear, is anyone else? I called a couple hours ago and the woman I talked to said they were in the process of notifying students. I know I'll hear either way, but I'm extremely stressed waiting for it to come in. I have a 3.76gpa, got a 76 overall and 97 reading and have taken everything but micro.

I'm still waiting.......:mad:

Everything I stated previously regarding the physical, was the information that came direct from one of the associate dean's mouth, last week.

Hey Everyone! So I got this email (look below) like 40 min. ago and just trying to figure out does this mean I have to bring in all this paperwork by tomorrow or am I suppose to bring it in by Monday?

"Dear Applicant,

On behalf of the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing (CCCSON), it is our pleasure to inform you that your application has been received and is currently in the process of being reviewed. Notification of acceptance or denial is currently pending due to additional documentation. Please bring a copy of your Assessment of Essential Academic Skills (ATI TEAS/Step) examination scores, copy of the Certified Background receipt, and unofficial transcripts if your transfer grades or CLEP scores were not posted by the Office of the Registrar to room 3208 at Malcolm X College, 1900 W. Van Buren, Chicago, IL 60612. Additional verification of your documentation will take place on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 7:30am – 5:00pm in room 3208. You may forward questions and inquires to [email protected].

We are aware that delays may have caused a great deal of inconvenience and for that, we truly apologize. Please note, we value your patience, and thank you again for applying to the CCC School of Nursing Programs.

It doesn't say to come in tomorrow, it says Monday. My guess is that you got in.

Oh I would hope so, I was just confused with the wording of the e-mail. I just wanna be sure I don't wait until Monday and they say it's too late, but I can see how Monday would be right. THANKS.

Going off the experience of others, you're in! They just need your documents. I wonder why they are missing so many.

They will send you an email with the forms you need for your doctor. It tells you exactly what you need

Hey all, I'm new ! I got the same email that cwilson105 was asking about and I'm actually bringing my documents up to MX tomorrow morning. What I gathered from the email (although I could very well be wrong) was that they would be doing the actually verification of the documents on Monday. Not that I had to wait until then to bring them. Regardless, I figured I've waited long enough for a decision that the quicker I can help move this process along the better! Just curious, is anyone currently at Kennedy-King? I've taken ALL my pre-reqs there and I'm currently taking Micro. What areas are you all from? I'm South East and I'm actually closer to Olive Harvey, but I chose to attend KK. I would love to get to know everyone here so that when we actually start the program we won't all be complete strangers you know! Anyways, good luck and cwilson105, as I previously mentioned, I'm definitely bringing my information to MX in the morning, maybe you should to?

I got my letter yesterday and it said to come in today or Monday. Your letter says to come Monday. I assume there is no one processing it tomorrow.
