Fall 2017 BSN GRU/Augusta U

I created a new thread because I couldn't find one for the fall 2017 applicants for GRU/ Augusta university BSN program. I applied recently and I wanted to see what everyone's stats were and if they had taken the TEAS 6 test yet.

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.91

Math and Sciences GPA: 3.93

TEAS 6 score: 82

I had everything completed and verified by the middle of January.

Last Monday my status was changed to "Decision made, notification by mail" and I just received the letter on Saturday. Also, when my status changed, they added the Background Consent Form was needed.

Hi I also applied to the nursing program. Does anyone know if Augusta has a waitlist or has been placed on the waitlist?

I'm not sure about housing available near the university. Augusta isn't really a college town and there is little to no affordable student type apartments. I'm not sure about the safety of housing near the university and you may want to look a bit further out in Columbia County.

This is me too. I have a 3.98 but a 76 on my TEAS. However, mine is asking for the background consent now so I'm not sure. Have you gotten a letter?

Did your status automatically change to need required documents or did it take some time because my status is decision made but still documents if accepted

It says: "if admitted" documents required: background consent. However, it appears not everyone is seeing the background consent form when the decision is made. The mystery is if it is indicative of acceptance or not. If you weren't admitted though, why add it even though it says "If admitted"

I understand that many people are wondering about the consent form asked. I was wondering how many people have been accepted that attend Augusta University and are you asked to submit a background form as well???? There is a wait list and many people do still get in after being placed on that list don't give up yet if placed on there. have a few friends in the program now that got in after being wait listed.
