I created a new thread because I couldn't find one for the fall 2017 applicants for GRU/ Augusta university BSN program. I applied recently and I wanted to see what everyone's stats were and if they had taken the TEAS 6 test yet.

Hi! Congratulations, I'm hoping to be where you are soon!!! I do have a lot of questions.. but to start off, 1) I heard that admissions is a rolling acceptance, so I wasn't sure when you submitted your application and when you received your acceptance notification? 2) what was your GPA, TEAS score, and what college did you attend before being accepted into the program? Thank you so much for answering my questions!!

It is rolling admission! The sooner you apply, the earlier you will hear back! As early as Feb! Average GPA here is around a 3.5 but have a friend who got in with a 3.2 after she was on the wait list! I had a higher GPA but did not do so hot on the TEAS but my GPA leveled it out. I did ALOT of shadowing and ran Red Cross blood drives. I am not telling you to do this but AU looks at your ENTIRE application rather than just your GPA and TEAS score. I was at Georgia Southern!

Okay! I have a 3.86 GPA right now and I scored an 86 on the TEAS V. I'm hoping that those stats will be pretty competitive with other people in order to get into the Athens campus! I applied early so hopefully I will be accepted early. I hate waiting! haha

My admission status changed from ready to review to "decision made by admissions committee: notification sent by mail". It also says "required documents: background check form". How long does it take usually to get your letter once this status has changed?? Sooo anxious

Yeah I had to call because I never received my letter! But I was accepted to the Athens campus!

Hey everyone. So I am new to this. A friend told me that I could reach peace of mind on here. I am trying to get into Augusta Athens campus for this fall 2017 and I have a 3.67 GPA but I am taking the TEAS for the second time tomorrow. I have taken the practice exams that ATI has provided and made a 72 and a 66. i made a 72 on the first try of the proctored exam. I just really want this and have been trying for a while. Any advice?
