Failing out

Is it true that if you fail out of a nursing program you're black listed from all other ? I'm a Lpn student and I just failed one of my classes by .45. Pretty much a half point. I wanted to transfer out but they told me that CUNY doesn't accept anyone who has failed out and trying to transfer somewhere else. What should I do ???

At my program, students that failed pretty much had priority when it came to reapplying, and one could reapply as early as the following semester. So don't give up, if you can't transfer just suffer that year wait and resubmit your app.
