failed twice :( help!!!

hello!

I am here seeking help... i know everybody's NCLEX is different but please share your experiences maybe that will bring me up a little.

so here it goes, in november of 2014 i took my NCLEX-RN for the first time, lets be honest... i wasn't really and i knew it, i expected to fail even though i did my best. I got 265 questions and was at about passing score on most topics. So i decided to take the Kaplan course to reinforce some test taking strategies and content, i studied really hard, about 4 hours a day for 2 weeks and then 5-7 hours a day for the 10 days before the exam. I took it again on february 4th 2015.... and failed. This time i got 75 questions whatttt???? yes, i went from one end to the other, and i knew i failed the minute i got in my car,,, just knew it. It was so darn hard... much harder than i remember it being the first time.

Anyways, i got an extension from Kaplan to be able to use the website longer, however; i feel lost. it is so disappointing to study so hard and fail miserably at 75 questions,,, that means i did worst than the first time :( i just don't know what to do now... I'm terrified of failing again not to mention the money we've already spent on this.

i love this profession and i can't wait to have a job and learn lots, it bothers me that the NCLEX its so hard and it really does not define nursing. anyways,,, share your thoughts, tips, best study material, how many times did you take it?

thanks!!!
