I think you need a grammar class. Your example makes no sense because the grammar is bad. Does your college offer grammar classes. And what do you mean you just failed the English portion of the Teas. It's not a pass or fail test. You get a score in each category and an overall score. Your overall score is either exemplary, advanced, proficient, and so on. Most schools require you score proficient to get into nursing school. You need to be more detailed.
ATI sells a TEAS study book. It might be able to help you. Go to their website atitesting.com to find the current edition and price. you can probably get it much cheaper from ebay or amazon. I paid 95$ straight to ATI a few years ago for my copy, and I got an excellent score on the TEAS.
Heather: I score low in English section. I got 77% reading 81% math. 55% science. Of course the example doesn't make sense. I randomly put that together just so I can show you guys the format. I do not remember much after taking reading section. Ive done many practice examples, however, this format was not in there at all. Anyhow, any tips would be appreciated. Thank you!!!!
Try this website for the grammar part. It's goes in so much detail with many mini quizzes.

I agree. I wanted to write a helpful answer but I couldn't make sense out of the sample test question you gave.
Could you give us some more information about our background and what's hard for you so we can help?

I took my teas test and failed last week. I did extremely well on reading, math and science. HOWEVER, I FAILED on my english ; ( I just dont know where or what to study to help me with this anymore. What I struggle the most is putting sentence structure together. To keep it ethical, im going to make up an example.
5) 1) Susan wants study hard.
2) susan has been studying all day
3) susans teacher thinks that shes very smart
4) susan wants to be a future doctor.
5) .....something like hard work pays off.
Then the question: please put these sentences together in order to make it flow.
A) 1 3 4 5 2
B) 5 3 2 1 4
C) 3 4 5 1 2
D) 2 1 3 4 5
Just an example I made up. I was really struggling with these questions. They have at least 6-8 questions like these on test. Please give me some tips. Please give me some pointers so I can pass my reading section.
Thanks
