Failed 1st time 150 questions, NOW WHAT???

Yesterday, I just found out that I failed the Nclex-RN exam. I am still floored. I cryed :crying2: for about an hour to my mom & dad over the phone. My heart is crushed, and I'm embarrassed on top of that :banghead:. I had a gut feeling that I didn't pass :confused:, but everyone I know said they walked out of the exam thinking that too. So now what do I do?? I took the Kaplan course, did Q trainers, Q bank, but seems as though on the nclex I couldn't apply Kaplan rules to answer the questions.I start my dream job on Tuesday. I am sooooo ashamed,and feel like I don't know a thing. Can someone tell me about Suzanne's plan??? Help please, I'm just going to pull the covers over my head for the rest of the day and tackle this head on starting tomorrow

Thanks for the support. We were told in the Kaplan review course to try to reach 65% on Question trainers 4 & 5, and on question trainers 6 & 7 try to get a 60%. I got a 62% & 63% on question trainers 4 & 5, and then got a 56% and 58% on question trainers 6 & 7. I never did reach the target goals, but I was close. I'm gonna try Suzanne's plan and keep the faith

Thanks for your support. I'm sorry to hear about you too. We gotta keep our heads up. Yes, we made it through nursing school now we gotta make it through passing the Nclex and that dreaded 48 hours. God how I don't want to go through it again but I have to. Be encouraged and thanks for reaching out

Wow, this is what I love about nursing we all support eachother whether we are across the desk or across the country!

Its been some time since I have taken the test but I remember that feeling in my stomach when I walked out...

The fact that you are regrouping and facing your challenge head-on makes me think you will make an excellent nurse!
