Failed the NCLEX twice--please help!

Hello All--I took the nursing boards twice and failed both times--I am at a loss as to what to do. I graduated in May of 07 from a 4-year program and I took the Kaplan review but that did not help me the first time--the second time, I did the Lippincott 3500 cd and although I did better in that second test, I still did not pass. I have worked so hard to graduate from school and I am now at a complete loss as to what I should do--I was advised to take the LPN and work as one for now and to take my time to study once again for the RN, but like I said, I am not sure where to start anymore. Any advice would really be appreciated.

Hello everyone..new to this..but so far I think it's great!!! Quick ?..I just took my PN=NCLEX today..and the computer shut off at 85..is that good or bad?? and I had 4-5 of the same type of ped calculation ?'s..does that mean I kept answering wrong?? and alot of prioritizing /'s ..plz help!! I can relate..I too graduated in May and have taken the nclex twice and failed. what is suzzanes plan to pass nclex? can someone pont me in the right direction?

thank God, I found out today that I passed, I went to the nys lincense website and found my info, what a relief, but to be honest I thought I failed and I started suzzanes 1st tip to her program which is taking every exam of each chapter and if u get under 75% take it again and study the chapter then take it again until u get 90%..... Search for suzzanes program for more info..... Thank u all for ur support, and for all of u that are still struggling u are in my prayers because I know what u all are going through... God Bless

well i took it fr the third time yesterday.i have a feeling i failed coz i went all the way to 205 questions.im talking about NCLEXPN.the worst part is that i am in a BSN programme at the moment.they need my licence!!!!!.i have about three semesters to go.I AM enjoying my classes..........But scared that theyl drop me out of the programme.I am so depressed.i get insomnia.Cant even talk to my friends about it coz its embarrasing.I AM tired of failing and being felt sorry for.This last time i could relate to some of teh questions!BUT I AM almost sure that i failed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!this website consoles me.But i feel like i have been wasting three years going to school for nothing!!!!!!!!

Simple81, have faith, I know that's easier said than done but I took the nclex rn four times and the last time I took it it cut off at 210 or something like that I didn't even know what number I was at and I just cried the entire train ride home, I was sure I failed again and started studying again that night, I found this website and I was comforted, silversragon told me to find out whether I passed or not b4 I start my new study regime but ofcourse I didn't listen. I waited till yesterday to look up my name on the license site for ny and I saw by name there I was shocked, it was all God, so my advice for u is keep the faith, even if u fail (God Forbid) u know that u can try suzzannes plan I hear it has a 100% pass rate, I'll be praying for u, cuz I know its tough, I felt sooooo lost and dumb bc all my friends have already passed and have been working. U are not alone! This site shows u that, for me this site was where I could vent everything to and it be confidential...take care... U can do it!

Hello. Pls dont ever give up. No matter how many tries we do we need to keep on trying and never loose hope. I have taken the test 3x and luckily I passed on the third try. took me 2 long years to finally hit my target. I almost gave up but with my husband's encouragements and support, I made it. I did Suzanne's plan, answered more questions thant before, and importantly, i read the rationales. and I prayed and prayed for guidance. Here I am now working and enjoying life being a nurse. altho I might say, being new is very difficult indeed, but again, ive survived nclex, I will again survive on my new found nursing job. Best of luck to all of yah...keep the faith and never ever give up.

hi guys, you all are so wonderful to all of us who have yet to become nurses on paper. i too have failed multiple times. i will start suzannes plan as soon as i get my book in the mail. i have a question though. do any of you have the isbn for the priority book. i can't find it on the internet. is it a mosby book? please help!

Moving this thread to the NCLEX Forum where you will be able to get more help.

Do not believe in taking the PN exam for you as it requires a completely different preparation and the subject matter covered is different from what you have covered in your exams.

Would focus on passing the RN exam, people do it all of the time and so can you. Please check out the First Tip my program that is posted in a sticky on this thread. It may be beneficial for you.

Best of luck in what ever you decide to do.

i equally thought of going for pn after failing thrice at 75 questions all 3times,infact was depressed for a while now but just started usind suzanne plan,i pray it turns out to be another successful story as people gives different advices but i'm sticking to her plan,everybody pray for me.

My God i cant help crying.I THANK God for this website......you guys just dont know how much your words console some of us.I did fail NCLEXPN For the third time.I confirmed this morning.I had classes the whole day.At least this gave me a chance not to think about my troubles.I sure will not give up.Its just that now i am in an LPN-BSN programme and im taking about 18 credits.So work is piling up at school.I have to face my Dean on monday and tell her that i dint get my licence.I hope they dont drop me out of the programme.Because i have paid alot of money for those classes.The earliest i can prepare again is in summer.Wont be so bad i will have finished PEDS AND MEDSURGE.i really cannot believe this is happening to me.I will REVIEW SUSANNES PLAN.......I WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET THAT LICENCE.its amazing how i really thought the questions were tricky but not as hard as i felt they were before.Anyway thanks so much guys for sparing time to respond to my pain.

Hi, I currently just retook my NclexPN exam for the second time and failed it again. I have one more time to take it. I am really unsure of what I am doing wrong and do not have a clue on where to start. I have done nothing but cry the last two days. can someone please give me some tips on what I can do?

Try Suzannes Plan, I Think It Works For Both Rn And Lpn, Look At The Top Of The Nclex Forum. It Gives You The 1st Part Of Her Plan, Then You Pm Her When You Are Finished And She Emails The Second Part. Takes At Least 45days To Complete. This Is What I Used And Many Others Have Also, And Passed.
