failed nclex Rn 3 times need help

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone,

I failed the nclex rn 3 times in michigan, before i take it the 4th time it is required to take a refreshing course...does anyone have any idea which courses are offered and how it works.

thx

I am in the exact same boat. I need to take some kind of refresher, but I couldn't find anywhere to direct you on how to do it. I called the Michigan Board of Nursing and he said ANY refresher course is fine as long as it is for RN/LPN or NCLEX. So Kaplan or Hurst is fine. He said to just mail evidence of completion to the board and you'll be able to test 3 more times.

I am in the same situation, I have failed three times in Michigan and have to do a refresher course. I was curious... Do you have to wait the 45 days after completion of the course or can you just go ahead and retake it upon completion of the refresher course? I am just trying to get a feel for how long I have to wait this time to retake it...

Have took the refresher course and if so what was the wait period? In addition any tips to helping me pass?

Hello everyone!

I graduated with my BSN 4 years ago. unfortunately after taking the NCLEX 3 times i was unsuccessful. I am ready to start studying again and get this over with!!! Because it's been so long i am having trouble organizing myself. I thought taking a refresher course would be a good place to start but also was not sure which one would be best. I am open to ANY other advice or guidance anyone can offer me. I'm ready to move on with my life!!!! Thanks in advance :)

I would be interested in starting a study group if anyone else is....I live in Pontiac

I am in the exact same boat! We graduated the same year and everything. I am in Texas and currently waiting for the Board of Nursing to sent me a remedial letter. I'm hoping for that soon!

Have you started srudying again?? What materials did you or do u plan to use? What refresher course?
