Hello good day to you all! I just want to share with you despite being frustrated, to those who haven't pass for multiple times of taking the exam, I SO feel you. Mixed emotions. I just want to create this thread so we can share emotions and encourage each and everyone. I don't know what else to do now that I Failed but that doesn't mean I will give up. Studied for 3 months used ReMar review hoping that I will pass this time. Now I am not blaming ReMar producta because it helped me with my content and I have learned so much. Maybe I just need to do a different strategy in studying. I took the test on March 13, 2017 and computer shut off at 95 questions, 10 SATA, delegation, prioritizations and some pharma. Yesterday March 14, 2018 was posted on board I failed for the 4th time. I felt embarassed and ashamed. I will have to take a week off feom studying and then start after a week then retake in 45 days God willing. I don't know what else to use for my review and how will i do it. So if you have any suggestion that helped you pass pls share your experience or ideas. Would really want to have someone to remind that it's not the end of the world. You all rock future nurses and new ones. Congratulations to all who pass!

I just took NCLEX in February and passed with 75 questions in less than an hour. I was an A/B student through school and have years of experience as a PCA. So those may have worked to my advantage. As to preparing for NCLEX, I really took the time to focus on the methods I used. I used UWorld and the Suander's book. I used UWorld for question prep and their rationales. I really made sure I read each rationale, even the ones I got right. I made sure I understood the rationales, even for the answers that were wrong. Looked at all of the rationales. If there was a condition or a med or any part of a rationale I didn't fully understand I pulled out my Saunder's book. I read through the topics I needed help with. Occasionally I did a youtube video here and there. I love TootRN, she helps with understanding. I also did some questions from the LaCharity Prioritization, Delegation,... book and the Lippencott Alternate format book. I didn't spend hours reviewing each day. I did maybe an hour max. I don't know where you are with fundamentals and such - but my prep for NCLEX was really just review and questions. I didn't want to overwhelm myself. I focused on what I knew would comprise most of NCLEX - Medsurg and higher level questions (i.e. SATA, ordering, Prioritization) Hope this helps

I just found out I passed three days after the exam! Here is how I studied- two weeks prior to the exam, I did 300 questions(four 75qs exams, not tutor mode) a day for six days in a row to finish all of the UWORLD Questions. After that, I read all the rationales of my right and wrong answers and took written notes. I went to report section to find out my weakest subjects, then I do those questions again and again until I get them all right. As I get closer to the day of the exam, I dont even read the rationale in detail anymore, I just wanted to get them all correct. I recommend doing a lot of "leadership and Management" questions because those are the prioritization problems. I also focused on pharm questions. Good luck!! You can do it.
